Weekly report 03/19/2018
The Winter Edition of the Dofus World Series started yesterday with a GO vs Millenium match. Our team played its first match ever under our coulours and truly wished to shine for the beginning of the competition.
GamersOrigin lost against Millenium, but we still have 13 other matchs to play in this DWS. We will do our best against Orks Esport next Monday to claim our first victory this season.
Den, our Hearthstone section coach, played the Challengers Final Day 2 bracket 4 on Sunday. This tournament was a qualifier for community cup winners wanting to earn a spot for the next World Championship. He didn’t make it to top 8 with three defeats for two victories after the fifth Swiss round.
Chinoize didn’t manage to win a fourth Baston in a row after his loss against Hunterace, who is nothing less than the current #1 of the HCT ranking.
The PUBG squad welcomed three recruits in order to find its way back to the top of the scene. It led to a top 14 for the Global Loot League and a top 13 for the Auzom Premier League. Intensive training paid off during PUBG France Winter Series, where the squad achieved a top 3. An encouraging result two weeks before Gamers Assembly!
TrackMania competitors are training for Gamers Assembly along with the new recruit Thomas “Pac” Cole, the World Championship title-holder who is now playing for GamersOrigin. Cocow, Cap, Aurel and Pac took part in the ProLeague playoffs. Their run ended during quarter final except for Pac who reached the final and took the win! Cap took the 9th place.
Stephano is preparing the first Nation Wars match with Clem and DnS while the League of Legends roster is preparing for Gamers Assembly. Scott “Tonerre” Ménard’s teammates won the qualifier after an impressive final against Team Vitality Academy. They know expectations are high #GOWIN.
