Spot in Division A locked
The Grandmasters swiss rounds stage is over and Gallon is ranked first among 16 competitors in the Americas. Indeed, the GamersOrigin representative performed well during the first three weeks of competition. His records were 3-4, 4-3 and final victory, 4-3 and top 6. His first place in the ladder sends him directly in Division A for the second stage of the competition, which will be constituted of round-robins.
In each Grandmasters region, the 8 best players of the swiss rounds will be placed in Division A whereas the 8 others will join Division B. Then, each competitor will face the other members of his division for 4 weeks. After the round-robins, the Division A top 6 and the best players from Division B will battle in playoffs. The 7th and 8th players of Division A will have to face Division B members in relegation matches.
Winning a Grandmasters season is the one and only way to qualify for the World championship. The Grandmatsers final will be held on June 7th. Until then, Gallon must reach Americas Division A top 6 #GOWIN.
