GO partners with Société Générale
GamersOrigin is proud to welcome Société Générale as its new partner for its professional League of Legends team.
It is a new step forward for GamersOrigin after being granted the new agreement on the status of professional players by the French government. It will also be a new opportunity to democratize esports.
Société Générale has been helping teams, especially in rugby, for more than 30 years and the bank continues to innovate with this first partnership in esports. In both organizations, we found common values such as commitment, team spirit and hard work.
This partnership will help GamersOrigin to grow in France and in Europe while promoting those shared values.
Société Générale is the new major partner of GamersOrigin. Its support will allow the entire esports club to grow: GamersOrigin will improve its communication and the environement of our players through staff (coach, manager, osteopath, psychologist) working with the League of Legends team every day in the Gaming House. All the while continuing to work to promote esports to the public.
GamersOrigin is one of the most important French esports club with 8 titles and 12 podiums for its League of Legends professional team alone. Since january 2018, the team reached the European Masters semi-final and is currently ranked #1 in the official French circuit, the LoL Open Tour.
The team is looking to maintain its domestic rank and will play under the colors of Société Général during its next event, the ESWC in Metz on September 8th-9th #GOWIN.
It is an incredible honour for GamersOrigin to welcome a major partner such as Société Générale, which is making its esport debut. Their trust has been incredible since the beginning and we will do our best to shine during the next two years, or longer I hope.
